How do I activate my Knowledge Account on the Knowledge Apple TV app?

Note: To watch Knowledge streaming programs on your Apple TV, you will require a fourth generation or 4k Apple TV device.

Step 1: Once you have downloaded and opened the Knowledge Apple TV app, you will arrive at the home screen with a button labeled “Sign In to Explore”. Using your Apple TV remote control, click the “Sign In to Explore” button.

Step 2: After clicking the “Sign In to Explore” button, you’ll see a screen with an alphanumeric activation code. This one-time code is used to activate your Knowledge Account on the Knowledge Apple TV app. Once you’ve noted the code, visit https://knowledge.ca/activate in a web browser on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. You can also scan the QR code with your phone or tablet to advance to the next step.

Note: The code below is just an example; you will be provided with your own unique alphanumeric activation code.

After visiting https://knowledge.ca/activate or scanning the QR code, the website will check whether you’re signed in. If not, you’ll be prompted to sign in or create an account.

If you do not have a Knowledge Account please click the “Create a Knowledge Account” button and proceed through the sign-up steps. If you need assistance with creating a Knowledge Account, please click here and follow the steps listed in the FAQ.

Step 3: After you sign in:

If you scanned the QR code, you’ll be asked to confirm the code. Check to make sure your code matches the one displayed on your TV, then click the “Confirm Code” button.

If you went to https://knowledge.ca/activate directly, enter your unique alphanumeric activation code in the text field provided, then click the “Submit Code” button.

You’re now all set up on your Apple TV. You can start watching your favourite Knowledge programs through the Knowledge Apple TV app.
