Why do I see “Not available in your country” when downloading the Knowledge app from the Google Play Store?

If you see the message “Not available in your country” when trying to download the app, it usually means the Google Play Store is detecting a location outside of Canada.

The Knowledge Network app is only available to Canadian users.

Even if you are physically located in Canada, this can sometimes happen if:

  1. Your Google account’s country setting is not set to Canada
  2. The Play Store region hasn’t updated to reflect your current location

Here are a few steps you can try:

1. Check Google Account Country

  1. Visit https://payments.google.com
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Make sure your country is set to Canada

2. Clear Google Play Store Data

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store
  2. Tap Storage, then select Clear Data and Clear Cache
  3. Restart your device and try again

3. Enable Location Services

  1. Make sure Location is turned on in your device settings

Once you've tried these steps, return to the Google Play Store and try downloading the Knowledge Network app again.
